We are pleased to announce the practical completion of a £750,000 estate-wide refurbishment at our multi-let industrial estate on Camford Way, Luton.
The programme formed part of our targeted value-add capital expenditure strategy and comprised the internal refurbishment of four units, alongside a comprehensive schedule of external works. These included roof over-sheeting, façade re-spraying, the installation of new roller shutter doors, and upgraded perimeter fencing to enhance site security.
Following completion, new leases have been secured on three of the four refurbished units at rental levels representing a c. 60% increase, establishing a new headline rent for the estate. In addition, the refurbishment programme has improved the EPC rating of the upgraded units from E to B, ensuring the asset remains aligned with anticipated UK Government energy efficiency requirements.
